This track was performed live on WCBN 88.3 FM’s Local Music Show, hosted most often by my buddy Shelley Salant. The session was engineered by frequent collaborator Jason Adam Voss. One of the more overtly sample-heavy pieces I’ve done, while I was still very early in the process of finding my feet as a live act… there’s a temptation to reveal my sources, but I’d rather just note that the mode of sampling was hilariously janky; to be exact, pushing “play” and “pause” on a CD walkman and running it through a looping delay pedal. Work with what you’ve got.
