Originally released as DUST018 in an edition of 48 cassettes.
Original website blurb:
"Super-weird how Fred and I have been in the same place at the same time so much. I mean, he had that detour in NYC for awhile, but our time in Portland almost overlapped EXACTLY, and now we're both in Ann Arbor, but we're both probably gettin' the fuck outta dodge in the same car in January (maybe)... anyway, you'd think everything we put out would be a split, since we're apparently joined at the (ghost) hip, or maybe (ghost) mind. Anyway, that ain't so, but this tape is just that. Child (Fred, who is also in City Center and Swimsuit) side is total mellow free-floating electronic vibes, noisy and gnarled but not like a rusty tin can... more like if you crumpled up a rainbow. Mall Mutants (me) side is a bizarro, heavily manipulated nonverbal vocal meditation that veers into some pretty fucked glottal territory in points, like a pitched-down Joan La Barbara (minus Morton Subotnick's weiner). Anyway, point is: this is the tape of the year, and it works better than valerian root to chill you out."
IMPORTANT NOTE: Mall Mutants side ("Untitled Meditation") available as part of the"Detritus Dreams On The Edge Of Paradise" collection, elsewhere on this bandcamp page.
