"I just knew that when Justin Shay (ex-New Sound Of My Bossa Nova, the greatest post-punk bossa nova band Ann Arbor's ever seen) and Tara Rubano had a baby, she'd be in a band before she was out of diapers. So it goes: little Astrid Echo Shay has teamed up with dad for this totally amazing free dub/drone band that needs to be heard to be believed. I'm just doin' my part by bringing you their cassette debut. Have a feeling that a tour is not forthcoming any time soon, so jam it and hope you're around Connecticut next time they play a gig!"
